Eliška Bartošová: Smývání dne (Washing Away the Day)

Painting Exhibition at Klub 29

An exhibition by Academy of Fine Arts in Prague student Eliška Bartošová.

In her work, Eliška focuses on intimacy and the relationship between individuals and their own bodies within private spaces. Through painting, she captures seemingly ordinary moments of solitude, self-care, and quiet self-observation. Bartošová is interested in the home as a place of both safety and confrontation with oneself, where personal experience transforms into a universal reflection on vulnerability, identity, and female experience. The exhibition in Pardubice at Klub 29 is one of the artist’s first solo presentations.

Eliška Bartošová (*2003) studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. She attended the Grafika 1 studio led by David Böhm and Slavomíra Ondrušová, completed a study residency in Taiwan, and is currently a member of the Malba 1 studio led by Robert Šalanda and Jan Kostohryz.

Opening: 29 August 2026, 18:00
The exhibition runs until 22 October 2026.

Free entry.

The programme of exhibitions and accompanying events at Klub 29 is realised with the support of the Statutory City of Pardubice.
