PROJECT  › The Error is not a Mistake 2024

With this exhibition, we are addressing Pardubice and the communities that inhabit the city, testing the spatial possibilities of the gallery and trying to make it more accessible to various entities. This year’s theme culminates with an exhibition that explores not only mistakes, but especially the moment at which we overcome them. Art, in fact, is one of the few human activities in which mistakes can be considered a step that can move us along in the creative process, or else force us to reconsider the current state of affairs.

We are not reserving the gallery only for contemporary artists. Instead, we create environments on the boundaries of installation, scenography, and lived experience. We pay tribute to the mistakes, attempts, and failures that form part of our everyday lives. We provide a space for those whose whose existence is, unfortunately, sometimes perceived as a “mistake” or “error”.
