Success at Be_on the Screen 2026
Two short films by young creators attending our animation course aniLAB have been selected among the ten best in their categories at the international showcase of digital work by children and young people Be_on the Screen 2026! A total of 233 films were submitted to this year’s edition.
The animated film Omoleta by Anežka Zahradníková was selected in the 7–12 age category. Psi – Poručíci pštrosi by Tereza Nejedlá succeeded in the 13–17 age category.
At aniLAB, we have long focused mainly on classical animation – drawn, cut-out and puppet animation. We support children and young creators in developing their own ideas, telling stories and discovering the possibilities of animated film. The success of Anežka and Tereza is a beautiful confirmation for us that patience, imagination and the joy of creating still have their place in today’s world of digital media.
