The spaces of the GAMPA gallery become the stage for the third edition of the Poezie je. (Poetry Is.) festival. After two years focused on performative approaches to the poetic text, the laconically titled contemporary poetry festival moves from the streets of Tábor to the Pardubice City Gallery, where it takes on an unusual format – an exhibition project. The eponymous exhibition at GAMPA reflects current trends in the art world, which is witnessing a renewal of poetic language across artistic disciplines. Here, poetry goes outside its comfort zone (the pages of books) and is materialised instead in the objects and multimedia installations of artists and poets experimenting with text on the boundaries of various intermedia approaches.
