Spinifex: Maxximus
The Amsterdam-based sextet Spinifex spent a week at Divadlo 29 in late March and early April 2025. There, they rehearsed and recorded their new album Maxximus in a unique expanded lineup — Spinifex Maxximus, featuring an added string section. The album was released on November 14 as a download and on CD.

CecoslovacchiaLive
CecoslovacchiaLive is a summer series of events held at Divadlo 29 and the City Gallery Pardubice (GAMPA), focusing on contemporary Slovak artists.
It loosely follows up on the Cecoslovacchia exhibition, which aims to "bring" the renowned Czech and Slovak Pavilion from the Venice Biennale to the Czech Republic and present it to local audiences. The exhibition, on view from June 28 to September 28 at the City Gallery Pardubice (GAMPA), explores not only the history and current state of the pavilion but also the cultural and political developments in both countries — symbolically united in the Venetian pavilion even after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia.
Spinifex Maxximus – Residency at Divadlo 29
The Amsterdam-based sextet Spinifex spent a week at Divadlo 29 at the turn of March and April 2025. During their residency, they rehearsed and recorded a new album in a unique expanded lineup — Spinifex Maxximus, featuring a string section. The exclusive premiere of the new program, marking the band’s 20th anniversary, took place on April 5.
While the new album is still in the works, you can already watch video footage from their time at Divadlo 29.
Endemit: Salami Tiger
The Brno-based trio Endemit recorded their album Salami Tiger last year during an artistic residency at Divadlo 29. The album is out now on LP and digital formats via the label Ma Records.
Limbo: Spirit Of Chaos
The album Spirit of Chaos by the band Limbo, created during last year’s residency at Divadlo 29, has been released on the Amplion Records label.
