Vánoční blešírek 2025 (Christmas “Blešírek” – a cosy flea-party)

After a year, your favourite Blešírek returns! For those who haven’t yet experienced the magic of this now-traditional pre-Christmas event, it’s the perfect time to make up for it. And for everyone else – as they say, practice makes perfect. 

Blešírek (a playful mix of a flea market and a friendly get-together) is a cosy refuge that reliably shields you from the stress of pre-Christmas cleaning, shopping, and baking. You’ll find almost everything you need for the holidays: meet friends, creators, makers, and artists – all without complicated arrangements, because everyone is heading to Blešírek. On top of that, you can enjoy delicious treats and a rich cultural programme for both children and adults.

Take a break from the holiday rush, soak up some inspiration, and enjoy a calm, friendly atmosphere full of ideas, scents, and encounters. Blešírek offers delights for the eyes and the soul – little treasures, handmade creations, original products, and gourmet treats. Meet friends, artists, and makers, and enjoy a varied cultural programme for all ages.

Expect ceramics by krosha and Keramika Jo, papercraft creations by Pavla a papír, Stellion, Bylo nebylo, and KUKKU, as well as upcycled stationery from Reformát. There will also be herbs and fragrances from Farma DobroMysl, lingerie by TerezaDvor, jewellery by Studio Katart and Kateřina Jirsová Studio, and many more surprises.

Step into the animation lab and see where short animated worlds are born! In this open workshop for children and adults, we’ll mix colours, shapes, and ideas while exploring how things come to life and move. Together, we’ll bring a world of imagination to motion.

13:00–18:00  Blok do kapsy (Pocket Notebook – upcycling workshop by Reformát)
GAMPA
Come and create your own original notebook using upcycling methods – with bookbinding screws or rings. We’ll go through the entire process using leftover materials and show that even old paper can gain a new life. You’ll try your hand at bookbinding machines and discover that creativity and sustainability go hand in hand. www.reformat.cz

At this year’s Blešírek you can look forward to a magical puppet show full of Christmas atmosphere! The story of two mischievous sisters takes you to a world where Christmas itself has gone missing – along with joy, traditions, and family warmth. The girls embark on an adventurous journey to discover that the true magic of Christmas lies not in presents, but in closeness, sharing, and singing carols together.

20:00  Futur Swing (concert)

The original gypsy-jazz band Futur Swing draws inspiration from the legacy of the brilliant Belgian guitarist Django Reinhardt. Music from the 1930s, reimagined in a fresh and modern way, will get your body moving to the rhythm of gypsy swing. The band approaches the genre with a contemporary outlook, playfulness, and humour. Unlike traditional revival bands, they don’t just preserve the style but explore new directions in interpretation and improvisation. With prominent use of violin, saxophone, and the unusual guitar banjo, Futur Swing brings a new sonic dimension to the genre. Their creative approach reflects not only Reinhardt’s techniques (1910–1953) but also dares to explore modern harmonies and rhythmic structures.

Futur Swing is not merely a nostalgic journey into the past, but a bridge linking the traditions of gypsy swing with a new era. Through their playing, listeners can feel the spirit of Reinhardt while discovering fresh and inspiring soundscapes born from modern interpretation.
