OFFCITY ARCHITECTS: Filip Tittl

The concluding lecture of this year’s OFFCITY ARCHITECTS series introduces the last of the four members of the City Council’s advisory board, whose task is to support important decisions in the context of Pardubice’s architectural and urban development. The final guest from this expert group is architect Filip Tittl. What is his connection to Pardubice? And what are his visions?

If you search his name, you might find something like this: “Filip Tittl (UNIT architekti) graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at CTU in Prague. His diploma thesis was awarded the Best Diploma Project in the Czech Republic in 2010 and nominated for the Archiprix prize. In his practice he focuses on urbanism and spatial planning, engages with building legislation, and collaborates with the Prague Institute of Planning and Development. He is also a coordinator of the research project Sídliště – What Next, dedicated to the revitalization of prefab housing estates.”

Together with his colleague David Tichý, Tittl forms part of the advisory board duo focusing on urbanism. What urban values has he discovered in Pardubice?
