Do values still exist that justify universities’ claim to a central position in human society?  

What is the relationship between the academic, political, and everyday dimensions of human life? These are some of the questions that will be explored in a lecture by doc. Tomáš Hejduk, Ph.D., who teaches at the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, University of Pardubice. He will present traditionally influential perspectives on the mission of universities and their position in today’s world (including specifically in the Czech Republic), as well as possible outlooks for the future.

The lecture will be held in Czech.
