A key figure of the Slovak punk-rap scene, Fvck_Kvlt, and the mischievous child of Rožnov hardcore punk CTIB – for the first time at D29!

Fvck_Kvlt is the project of Trnava-based musician Denis Banga, who blends rap with punk in a way that both hits hard and cuts deep. Trap beats, raw energy and lyrics that go straight to the bone – about exhaustion, anger, the system, and personal failures. No posing, rather an edgy sincerity and a kind of humor that sometimes hurts. After the albums Zabijem sa! and Cigán, which earned him two main Radio_Head Awards, last year brought Mŕtva revolúcia – an album that feels more like a manifesto than just a tracklist. DIY approach, self-production, zero filters.

The manifesto of Mŕtva revolúcia grows out of the conviction that the personal is political, and that the current capitalist system systematically suppresses political imagination, encourages resignation and imposes values of competition, meritocracy and fear – values that distort both human relationships and our understanding of morality. It does not call for a specific system, but for a shift in mindset toward solidarity, empathy and equality – even at the cost of a struggle that may already be lost, because maintaining this imagination is the precondition of any real change.

For Fvck_Kvlt, genres are a playground: sometimes trap, sometimes punk, sometimes metal or techno – sometimes all of it at once. Live? A total explosion. Together with rapper Paris, DJ VKTRD and drummer Jakub Spiszak, he turns the space into a sweaty sauna of emotions. Beat drops like a punch to the chest, nervous flow, and moments when the whole room either screams or falls completely silent. This isn’t a concert for a quick story post – this has to be experienced live.

CTIB is the mischievous child of the hardcore punk scene from Rožnov pod Radhoštěm in Moravia. He was part of the community that organized shows at the legendary club Vrah and has played, or still plays, in several bands (Telefon, Uštkni, Chorobopop). He was also influenced by Czech pre-1989 folk, which shaped his early solo period when he performed with an acoustic guitar as a folk-punk songwriter. Gradually he moved toward a more electronic sound – adding drums, bass and synths in his computer, later also guitar. He jokingly calls the resulting style disco-ego-punk. His third solo album Možná má někdo plán will be released this March on the Brno label Kabinet Records. His concerts prove that punk isn’t just guitars and shouting – this guru of the Rožnov scene definitely won’t leave you calm.
