Dočasná Company: Zatmění slunce (Solar Eclipse)
A dance-movement performance by actress, acrobat and screenwriter Helena Urban about loss and friendship.
Once upon a time – maybe a thousand years ago, or perhaps just two – there lived two friends, actresses and dancers, preparing “the best and funniest show in the world.” Everything was simply phenomenal, until one of them went on holiday… and never came back. The sun darkened, the world lost its colors, and only time remained.
Zatmění slunce (Solar Eclipse) is a celebration, a farewell, a ritual of a second funeral on stage. It is about coping, grief and anger, but above all about finding support, friendship and life in new places and in new people. It is about overcoming and healing through sharing, and about the necessary dose of madness as well as the inevitable lightness and weight of human existence.
