- graduated from the Faculty of Humanities at Charles University in Prague and then from bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies at FAMU in Prague
In addition to film, he is also involved in music, theater, performance and poetry. His experimental films The Beginning and the Lion (2009) and Ultimum Refugium (2011) were nominated for the Andrej Stankovič Award.
